3. User-Generated Content (Reviews) You acknowledge that VerifiedAdvisors.ca acts as a passive conduit for the distribution of user-generated content.

4. Paid Memberships: Professionals may purchase Premium membership ($99/month) to access enhanced profile features including featured placement, lead notifications, and license monitoring.

Premium Membership Fee: The $99/month fee provides advertising visibility, featured placement, lead notifications, license monitoring, and profile analytics. This fee is not a commission based on the success of loan applications or financial transactions.

Instant Delivery: As these are digital services (profile upgrades, badge verification, analytics access), the service is considered “delivered” immediately upon payment confirmation.
5. Refund Policy Due to the digital nature of our services (instant access to profile management tools and featured placement), all sales are final. Premium subscriptions may be cancelled at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial months. Refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of VerifiedAdvisors.ca management only in cases of technical error (e.g., double billing).
6. Limitation of Liability In no event shall VerifiedAdvisors.ca, its owners, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Website, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles.
7. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
8. Advisor Responsibilities
Financial advisors who create profiles on VerifiedAdvisors.ca agree to:
– Maintain valid, current licensing with their provincial regulatory body
– Provide accurate license information and professional credentials
– Notify us immediately if their license status changes (suspension, expiration, revocation)
– Comply with all applicable regulations governing their profession
– Not misrepresent their qualifications, services, or credentials
– Respond professionally to consumer inquiries received through the platform
VerifiedAdvisors.ca reserves the right to remove or suspend any advisor profile that:
– Contains false or misleading information
– Represents an advisor with expired, suspended, or revoked licensing
– Violates our content policies or terms of service
– Receives verified complaints of misconduct
9. Intellectual Property
The VerifiedAdvisors.ca website, including all content, features, logos, and functionality, is owned by VerifiedAdvisors.ca and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Users may not:
– Copy, reproduce, or distribute content from the site without permission
– Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
– Scrape or data mine advisor information from the platform
– Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our verification processes
Advisors grant VerifiedAdvisors.ca a license to display their professional information, credentials, and any content they submit (photos, descriptions, testimonials) on our platform and in marketing materials.
10. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of VerifiedAdvisors.ca after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
For Premium subscribers, we will provide 30 days’ notice of any material changes that affect pricing or core service features.
